The Florida Freewheelers are supporting our members that participate in the CF Cycle for Life ride on October 6th by sponsoring a team in this year’s ride. CF Cycle For Life is a one-day tour where hundreds of men and women will come together to participate in an event to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
Participants have the choice of 30, 64 or 100 mile routes through Seminole and Volusia Counties. The bike tour is a fully supported journey with stocked rest stops every 12-15 miles, support and gear (SAG) vehicles, on-site medical services, and much more. This unique event empowers participants to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure in a tangible, emotional and experientially powerful way. More information on the ride is available at http://www.cff.org/Chapters/orlando/index.cfm?id=23855&event=23855.
The first 40 club members who wish to participate in the event and agree to wear a Florida Freewheelers jersey during the ride will have their cost of the ride paid for by the club; i.e. registration fee and minimum fund raising requirement waived. In order to take advantage of this agreement the club has reached with the CF Foundation, you must pre-register. Please contact Scot at firstname.lastname@example.org for team registration procedures. Stuart Beal is serving as the team captain for the event.
