We will hold our Annual July 4th Picnic ride on Wednesday, July 4th!!!
The park opens at 8 AM and we will dispatch the A group promptly at 8:30 AM followed by the other groups every five minutes afterwards until everyone is out on an excellent ride. We will have ride leaders for the A, B, C, D, S & T groups. The A & B rides will use the Dogs & Soda Firecracker Ride map while the other groups will use the Shorter Dogs & Soda Firecracker Ride map.

Directions: as you head towards Mount Dora on US-441, continue north through Zellwood for 3 miles, take a left at Earlwood Ave for 1.5 miles, bear right on Trimble Park Rd. As you head to the park, do not take the first park entrance … continue going straight to the second park entrance. The Park Rangers will not open the gates until 8 AM. Once you enter the park, keep coming into the park until reach the main picnic area. Park in the areas adjacent to the Mini Pavilion 1 or make the left and park in the side lot.

The ride … a great route through the great scenery of Lake County and just a bit of Marion County. You get to see Mt. Dora all decked out in July 4th spirit. Thrill Hill is on the longer route while the shorter routes make a loop around Lake Dora.
Food … we will have plenty of hot dogs, soda, vegi plates, fruit plates, potato salad, macaroni salad, and cookies. We will also have Boca Burgers and fixings too! Please call or email if you have any questions.
